Hello, my name is Alyssa Maria Lopez. I recently graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in the Summer of 2022, majoring in English with a minor in Professional Writing. Before attending UTSA, I obtained an associate degree at Austin Community College in General Studies. I currently work with NAMI, a non-profit mental health organization, as a part-time intern/education director’s assistant. I have created this cover letter to share my interests and skills with the possibility of working with your organization.

 

 I am a self-driven, dedicated individual committed to putting significant effort into the past, present, and future positions I attain. My optimism, empathy, and adaptability are never lacking, and I am not afraid to ask questions when guidance is needed. Throughout my college career, my courses have varied from various literature to environmental communication to advanced professional writing to editing.
